Christine Cavalari avoided a barrage of questions about her rarely divorced settlement at LAX.
On Friday, a TMZ reporter attacked the former reality star at the airport and asked her about her recent criticism of her ex-husband Jay Cutler. However, Kavalari remains a mom and refuses to answer the questions.
In June, the “Laguna Beach” alumni (38) claimed on the “Honestly Cavalli: Headline Tour” podcast that he never “gets a penny” when the former NFL player split.
“I didn’t get any money from the divorce, so let’s make that clear. Thank you,” she said.
Last month, 42-year-old Cutler fought back at his former claim.
“Let’s think logically about this: ‘Not Penny’,’ he is not married in an episode of the “Take It Outside” podcast.
“You can see how much I made in the NFL. It’s online. You can see the contracts every year and you can see the total at the end of 12 years,” the former Chicago quarterback continued.
“So you go to divorce, each side gets a lawyer, then you go to court and there’s a judge.”
After spending more than $120 million during his 21-year NFL career, Cutler expressed his opinion that he was “not a Tennessee judge” who would have signed a divorce agreement that would allow him to “keep all the dollars” during his marriage.
The former athlete also said that Cavallari’s skincare and jewelry company, rare James, was created during the union and is a “marriage assets.”
Cutler went on to argue that Cavalari’s comments were “irresponsible,” “reckless,” and “borderline slander.”
“It’s insanity. It’s completely false, it’s not completely true. It’s just, I have a divorce order. I have one signed by a judge – it seems to be 67 pages – it says a breakdown of the numbers,” he added.
He refused to give him an exact number, but he promised that it was “undoubtedly not zero.”
Kavalari and Cutler announced their split in 2020, and their divorce was finalised two years later
