Chrissy Teigen confessed to using Ozempic a few years ago, and is finally breaking the way “miracle drugs” have separated her from “deep depression.”
The “Self-conscious” podcast host told listeners on Thursday that he took semaglutide “around a year” after experiencing stillbirth with his son Jack.
This model, 39, was able to “finally” lose weight in pregnancy before “finally for 3-4 months no results were obtained.”
Teigen, who lost Jack in September 2020, recalled that after using the Ozempic, she was no longer in a “deep recession with this pregnant belly not in the baby.”
The weight has since been “stripped” and “funny” the judge added, saying he had experienced “Ozenpic’s blindness.”
“You’re losing an incredible amount of weight you don’t realize you’re losing too much,” she said.
Teigen pointed out that she is “irritated” and “almost tortured” to take because she is a huge fan of food.
“I’m not hungry at all, for me, I hate it,” she said. “I love being hungry. I love eating food. I love craving food.”
The “Chrissy’s Court” star joked about loving food, becoming a “sleep sandwich” that her husband, John Legend, eats every night around 2am.
It took Teigen to “get hungry” with Ozempic before finding the “correct dose.”
She said, “I take a shot, which would be three days to feed myself food.
“I felt sick about it because it’s not bad to be hungry,” the previous co-host of “lip-sync battle” continued and then continued, explaining how she “accrued over time.”
Teigen explains that she was on “the bad path (she) thought of good food,” and the drug helped her “crazy” diet “rules” into the groove.
The “sports illustration swimsuit” model felt “freed from that prisoner.”
She explained the shame she felt not only because she “actually affords” Ozempic, but also because her fans are buying cookbooks and being “untrue” people.
In the episode, Teigen was opened up about his previous struggle with food, as it was a conversation with Johan Hari, the author of “The Magic Pills.”
“As a model, I ate and threw food,” Teigen revealed. “I didn’t consider it bulimia. I actually ate so much that I got sick (for four years).
Cookbook authors – daughter Luna’s mother, 9, son Miles, 7, both daughter Estee and son Len did not specify when or why she stopped taking Ozempic.
She had never spoken about taking medication before, but she enjoyed the “despicable” questions about watching “a lot of Ozempic?” Instagram video from September 2024.
