More than two weeks after Nepo claimed baby was being held captive in Colombia, Chet Hanks attended a pre-Oscar party with his mother Rita Wilson.
The model was spotted walking behind the actress as she arrived at the star-studded CAA party on Saturday night.
Hanks looked dapper in an all-black suit for the special occasion.
Wilson, 69, also wore an all-black look, complete with a silk shirt, skirt and cropped blazer.
The Sleepless in Seattle star shares sons Chet, 35, and Truman, 30, with husband Tom Hanks, 69.
The “Forrest Gump” actor is also the father of Colin, 48, and EA, 43, with ex Samantha Lewis.
Last month, Chet revealed he was stranded in South America after traveling to Puerto Rico for a friend’s birthday party.
The “Fantastic Four” star took to Instagram to explain how he took a detour to Colombia to visit a friend.
“I’m a dual citizen, so I’m traveling on my Greek passport,” he said, explaining that he didn’t bring his U.S. passport because it was about to expire.
“Even if it hasn’t expired and is about to expire, you may not be allowed to enter the country,” Chet added.
“I’m going to the airport three hours early to check in for my flight,” he continued. “This is an international flight. I was told that if I was using a foreign passport, I would need a green card to return to the United States.”

“Certainly there are worse places to get stuck, but I literally have no idea what to do and the only embassy that can help me with this problem is in Bogotá,” he said.
Chet shared a photo of himself in Colombia earlier this month, looking like he was making the most of his time abroad.
He captioned the post: “Getting out of Colombia: Failure. Trapped in Colombia: Success. Coming soon 🇨🇴✌🏻.”
