Cher stole the show with the huge ring she wore on her son Chaz Bono’s finger at his wedding.
The 79-year-old singer sparked speculation that she and her partner Alexander “AE” Edwards tied the knot with sparklers and a band at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Monday.
Representatives for Mr. Scheer and Mr. Edwards did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
However, Page Six has heard that the couple is not engaged.
Cher’s statement jewelry aside, the Grammy winner cut a casual look as she arrived at a wedding on Monday in a star-print sweatsuit and sneakers.
Cher was in one of the hotel’s ballrooms watching her eldest son and his partner, Shara Blue Mathes, walk down the aisle.
Bono, 57, and Mathes have been dating since 2017.
As for Cher and Edwards, the couple went public with their romance in late 2022 and have repeatedly insisted on their 40-year age difference.
She also regularly gushes about Edwards’ six-year-old “precocious” son Slash, whom he co-parents with ex Amber Rose.
“Before I met[Edwards]I walked around the house and said, ‘I want a man and a toddler,'” the songwriter revealed to Armchair Expert listeners in January.
Reports surfaced that Cher and her much younger boyfriend are planning to marry in December 2025, but a spokesperson for Cher refuted the rumors.
“There are no wedding plans in her future,” Cher’s representatives insisted last year.
The “If I Could Turn Back Time” crooner has been married twice before, to Sonny Bono and Gregg Allman.
Cher sparked rumors that she and Edwards might be getting engaged just months after they started dating, when Cher showed off her stunning diamond ring from the record producer via Instagram.
In a 2023 interview with Access Hollywood, the actress called the teardrop-shaped glitter the “best Christmas present” she’d ever received, and revealed why it wasn’t on her left ring finger.
“He told me, ‘You’re the right girl, the right ring on the right finger,'” Cher recalled.
