Is it the top? necklace? belt? Why not all three?
Charlize Theron appeared in the front row at Givenchy’s Spring/Summer runway presentation at the Spring/Summer 2026 runway presentation in Paris on Friday, wearing a barely top made of transparent gems and silver stud strings.
The Oscar winner, 50, was covered in white blazer and matching slouching pants, but otherwise the appearance would not be suitable for the office.
Jewel chains cascaded the torso of South African stars. This was bare except for a simple black bra. She finished off a matching look with crystal drop earrings, shielded sunglasses and carved thong sandals.
The barely top is from Saraburton, who debuted in March as Givenchy’s creative director in the fall 2025 collection. Previously spent years at Alexander McQueen, Burton has made waves with his dismantled approach to luxury.
Theron’s Jewelry Moment comes just a few weeks after Jenna Ortega caused a stir at the 2025 Emmys at a similar top of the same Givenchy collection.
The “Wednesday” star wears a glittering piece featuring oversized jewels and pearls of Burgundy, Amber and Gunmetal, baring her skin underneath the jewels.
The Burton design, known as the “broken chandelier top,” is not a pre-ordered one, nor is it due to weak shoulders.
Ortega stylist Enrique Melendez revealed on the “Plus One” podcast that actress Emmy had clocked for £20 to £30, “drilling into the poor collar bones.”
“She said, ‘Enrique, I love you, but could you do something more practical next time?” Melendez shared, praising Ortega as “he’s been married until now.”
The actress never escaped her from the fashion challenge, but it is unclear whether Theron’s version weighs the same.
The “Mad Max” star has been having quite a bit of Gybunch moments recently. In June, she wore a black fishnet bodysuit from Burton’s debut collection to the premiere of The Old Guard 2 in Los Angeles, combining thin pieces.
She also went out wearing a white asymmetrical shirt dress from the same collection, preceded by Netflix in May, but stylist Leslie Freemer was relatively buttoned due to her appearance.
