Charlie Sheen, who last married Brookmuller before his 2011 divorce, says he was single for quite some time.
“My romantic life is going well, as perhaps it is,” Sheen recently told people for this week’s cover story. “That’s been the case for a long time.”
The 60-year-old actor, who has been celebrating nearly eight years of sobriety, says that when he decided to stop drinking in 2017, swearing love and sex was not part of a bigger plan (he had already stopped drugs).
“It wasn’t even a choice,” he says. “But the girl he shares with former Dennis Richards (daughters Sami, 21, Laura, 20) has moved in. And when they moved in, the boy (two Bob and Max, 16, who shares with Mueller) has arrived.”

The scene continues. “My analogy was that the car didn’t have enough space, and I also spent so much time and energy chasing it for so long.

Sheen says he hasn’t ruled it out in his future.
“I can love again. Someone walks through the door and it’s the right time and you can’t deny it… Absolutely. Probably not a marriage,” Sheen says.
“I put this at the end of the book, and “no” is my new favorite word and I value it as much as ‘love’ as old,” he adds. “It’s more important to me that I like the people around me.”

Sheen, who recently played a role in the series Bookie, is preparing for the release of the Netflix documentary aka Charlie Sheen (September 10).
He says he looks forward to sharing his truth about his wild past and his infamous struggle with addiction.
His former frequent relationships with Richards and Mueller (both featured in documentaries) are now in a positive place.
“We text constantly,” he says. He co-parented with Mueller, living with one of his teenage twins, and the other living with Mueller in Florida.
“I think everyone is tired of the bad energy,” he added their troublesome public divorce. “You’ll run out of steam for that.”
Whats on the Cliff
Recently, Sheen says he is happy to have a wonderful, loving relationship with his parents after worrying about him for a long time.
“If they don’t live that close, I’d probably move out of Malibu,” he says of the beach town he grew up in. “Maybe it’s just a remote house in the middle of the meadow.”
