Lock your door as the latest Netflix serial killer is loose.
Charlie Hannham will star in the third season of Netflix’s anthology series “Monster,” as Ed Gaine, a murderer known as “Plainfield Butcher” and “Plainfield Ghoul.” The show will premiere on October 3rd.
The “Ed Gein Story” Logline reads: “Serial Killer. Grave Robbers. Psycho. In the frozen fields of Wisconsin in the 1950s, friendly, gentle, controlled secularization named Edie Gain lived quietly on a corrupt farm. Evil crimes produced a new kind of monster that haunted Hollywood for decades.
In addition to Hannam, the cast includes mother Augusta Gain, Tom Hollander as film legend Alfred Hitchcock, Olivia Williams, Hitchcock’s wife, screenwriter Alma Leville and Addison Ray, who are missing Evelyn Hartley, Vicki Creep, Leslie Manville, Charlie Hall, Suzanne Son.
Produced by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, co-created and executive “Monster” was a huge success, previously profiled Jeffrey Dahmer, Erik and Lyle Menendez in their first two seasons. The show is an executive produced by Murphy, Brennan, Max Winkler, Eric Kobtun, Scott Robertson, Nissa Diederich, Louise Shore, Carl Franklin and Hannam. In addition to writing the season, Brennan oversaw Winkler.
