The Charismatic Carpenter is a huge shock to Dermot Mulroney.
The 55-year-old Buffy the Vampire Slayer alumni says she needs to take her to Tiktok Sunday while attending Garaxycon Nightmare Weekend in Cleveland, Ohio, to show that she is an actor (her).
“Guys, I’m in the Green Room in Nightmare Weekend Cleveland,” she shared with fans, adding that the event is a “horror convention.”
“So I really don’t know why Dermot Mulroney is here, but that doesn’t matter because he’s so happy. I’m literally his biggest fan.”
“Perhaps because I don’t know before I get married,” she added Mulroney. He filed for divorce from his 14-year-old wife in June.
“So I’m talking like ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’,” the actress said of the 1997 hit comedy film. “I just love him in that movie. He’s just a good guy.”
One mom quoted Mulroney’s turn in the Showtime series “Shameless.” She attacked the actor.
Carpenter revealed that her handler encouraged her to approach the “Scream 6” actor and to tell him she is a fan.
After finally being convinced, she said she “had become so comfortable” and “crashed his photoshoot” and took a photo with Mulroney. She promised to share it with her fans “later.”
The actress said she told Mulroney that she had previously auditioned for his opposite role in the “Chicago Fire.” “He was very sweet and kind,” she recalled, adding that he had to later “manifesto” to work with.
“I was like, no, Dermott, you need to show that you’re my husband,” she said.
Carpenter laughed before confessing that she had actually “not said that.” But that’s what I was thinking,” she added.
Fans touched on the comment thread and responded to Carpenter’s nasty confession. “I can feel the energy of a fangirl through the screen,” one follower wrote, but another added, “He’s single now, so please choose that.”
“I don’t calculate. A charismatic carpenter is not someone who crushes others, but people are people who have been crushed,” he said a third along with a string of laughing emojis.
Carpenter played Cordelia Chase in “Buffy” from 1997 to 1999, and famously played the spinoff “Angel” from 1999 to 2004.
She married Damien Hardy in 2002, and the pair welcomed their son Donovan in 2003. However, they divorced in 2008.
Meanwhile, Mulroney married Prima Apollinaare in 2008 and filed for divorce on June 23, citing “incompatible differences.” The estranged couple shares Sally (15) with 17-year-old child Mabel.
He was previously married to “Our 40 Years Old” star, Catherine Keener.
