Chapel Lawn resurfaced with an appearance at Coachella 2026, weeks after her security guard drama made headlines.
The singer attended the annual music festival in Indio, Calif., on Saturday, ditching her usual bold makeup for a subdued look.
The 28-year-old was pictured wearing a pirate-inspired outfit consisting of a gold and black vest, brown belt, tiered skirt and brown cowboy boots.
The Grammy winner accessorized with multiple rings and a colorful bracelet, but appeared to be alone as she walked among the other attendees.
Roan made headlines last month after Brazilian soccer player Jorginho, the stepfather of Jude Law’s 11-year-old daughter Ada, criticized the songwriter on Instagram.
Jorginho claimed that Ada was punched by a “large” security guard at the hotel to confirm it was him as he passed by musicians having breakfast.
“My daughter was very scared and cried a lot,” Jorginho told his followers. “To be honest, I don’t know how in the world just walking past a table and looking would be considered harassment.”
“Without your fans, you would be nothing,” he said directly to Roan. “And fans, she doesn’t deserve your affection.”
Roan denied the security guard was part of her team, said she had not been approached by Ada and claimed in an Instagram Story that it was “funny” to think Ada “hates kids”.
Security guard Pascal Duvier later took full responsibility for his interactions with Ada and her mother, Catherine Harding, and said he did not represent Rohan.
“I made this decision based on the information I received from the hotel, the events I witnessed a few days ago, and the overall heightened safety risk for the location,” Duvier said in an Instagram post.
He added: “The outcome is disappointing as the only interaction I had with the mother was calm and well-intentioned.”
Since the start of her career, Roan has had a complicated relationship with fame, including feuding with photographers and slamming “weird” and “entitled” fans.
