Flavor Fluff has revealed that he did not receive an invitation to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, despite his superfan status as ‘King Swifty’.
“No, I haven’t received an invitation to the wedding. I’m not expecting an invitation. You know what I’m saying? All nine of us,” Flav, 66, told People magazine in an interview published Saturday.
“But I know they have my blessing. And if she invites me, will you dig? All right, I’ll go. King Swifty is going to attend the wedding.”
The rapper, who has long been a fan of the pop star’s romance with the NFL player, 36, previously gushed about the couple’s engagement in August, doubling down on his offer to officiate her wedding.
“I knew this was going to happen,” Fluff told TMZ at the time. “I couldn’t wait for the[engagement]day. Now my girl Taylor is engaged to my boy. I’m so happy!”
“I can’t wait for the wedding,” he continued. “That’s not all. When you all get married, I will ask my son, Flavor Flave, to officiate your wedding. I would love to officiate your wedding.”
The hype man turned reality star went on to wish the couple “the longest and most successful marriage ever.”
“King Swifty is giving all my blessings in the building,” he concluded.
In January, he couldn’t help but praise the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker, telling Page Six that she was “the biggest touchdown Travis Kelce ever scored.”
The Public Enemy band members first hooked up with Swift when they met her at the iHeartRadio Awards in March 2023. They then reunited at the Grammy Awards the following year.
He also appeared several times on the singer’s Elas tour last year.
“I’m always hard for Taylor Swift. Swifties, they know how hard I try for Taylor Swift,” Flav told People about his relationship with Swift in March.
“The Swifties gave me a new name, King Swifty. So I’m King Swifty. I’m the king of all Swifties, and Taylor knows it. I love her. I love her work. She’s one of the most important artists of our time. I don’t know any other musical artist who can put on a concert. It reaches the Richter scale. She causes earthquakes.”
