A Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office report obtained by PEOPLE ruled that Bader’s cause of death was “coronary atherosclerosis due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease” and that his cause of death was “natural causes.”
Bader, a Cincinnati native, is known for Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and X, where he collectively maintains more than 200,000 followers, where he shares lifestyle content and financial advice. I also ran a financial coaching course, The Artisan Lab, and an email newsletter to share financial tips.

Bader was running on a treadmill at Admiral’s Cove Regional Gymnasium and “did not appear to be in distress” when he was caught on security camera at 6:20 p.m. Eight minutes later, a Palm Beach County Coroner’s Office report said, Bader was found unresponsive by “another gym patron.”
According to a Jupiter police incident report obtained by PEOPLE, authorities arrived on the scene just before 6:30 p.m., and medical personnel continued life-saving measures before Bader was taken to the hospital, Reid and the Palm Beach County coroner’s report confirmed.
According to the coroner’s report, he was pronounced dead at 8:07 p.m.
The Palm Beach County Coroner’s Office, which spoke with the creator’s mother, said Bader was in “relatively good health, other than recent complaints of back and shoulder pain, and was undergoing physical therapy to address his discomfort.”
A toxicology report obtained by PEOPLE found codeine was detected in Bader’s urine but not in his blood, and the coroner’s report suggested “recent use” of the drug, but said it did not “in any way” cause or contribute to the death.
In a statement to PEOPLE, Upham and Bader’s families memorialized their late creator as “a visionary who led with love, lived with purpose, and channeled his passion into helping others.”
“Through his wisdom, humor and compassion, he had a profound impact on all who knew him,” they continued. “Ben lived each day to the fullest and inspired those around him to seek meaning, connection and purpose in their lives.”

“Actually, there was no sign of anything like that happening. We were supposed to have dinner that night and he seemed pretty normal,” she said. “I just talked to him on FaceTime a few hours before he passed away, and he seemed so happy, so normal, just laughing, so funny.”
Bader shared his last video on TikTok on October 23, the day he passed away. He previously celebrated his 25th birthday by going out to dinner with friends, sharing a photo he posted on Instagram on September 22nd in Carousel.
