FX has released the trailer for the fifth and final season of “The Bear.”
In the trailer, Sidney (Ayo Edibiri) takes over Chicago’s kitchen as head chef and is on the scene, while the rest of the crew battles floods, delivery interruptions, a building sale, and a lack of funding as they literally figure out how to keep the restaurant afloat.
All eight episodes of Season 5 of The Bear will premiere on Hulu and FX on June 25th.
Season 4 ended with Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) exiting the restaurant business and leaving The Bear in the hands of Sydney, Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachluck), and Natalie (Abby Elliott). After having an emotional conversation with all three, Carmy leaves, but returns to the restaurant this season and tells the crew in the trailer, “I see you all and I love you so much.”
“The Bear” stars Lionel Boyce, Liza Colon-Zayas, Abby Elliott, and Mattie Matheson, with recurring roles including Oliver Platt, Jon Bernthal, Ricky Staffieri, and Molly Gordon. Throughout the past four seasons, the show has also boasted an impressive roster of A-list guest stars, including Brie Larson, the late Rob Reiner, Jamie Lee Curtis, Joel McHale, John Mulaney, Bob Odenkirk, Will Poulter, Olivia Colman, Sarah Paulson, Molly Ringwald, John Cena, and Josh Hartnett.
Christopher Storer created The Bear and serves as executive producer along with Joanna Caro, Josh Sr., Hiro Murai, Nate Mattson and Matheson. Storer will also serve as primary director for this season, along with permanent director Hiro Murai.
