Cardi B is said to have degraded a female security guard during a troublesome brawl at the clinic in 2018. The woman testified at a trial held in Los Angeles on Monday.
Emmani Ellis claimed in the stand that the “WAP” rapper (who was four months pregnant at the time) spitted on her, called out a racist name and cut her cheek with her nails.
The security guard approached Cardi B over the phone while in the obstetrician’s office, claiming that the woman was upset because she thought the “up” rapper was trying to make a personal visit.
Ellis refuses on the stand to take a photo of Cardi using her phone, “After hearing her say her name, she turns around and the first thing is… “Why are you telling people you’re looking at me?”
“I tried to calm her down and assure her that I didn’t tell anyone that I saw her. She was very angry,” she added.
Ellis claimed that the “bodak yellow” rapper threatened to fire her, calling her work “physical embarrassment,” and vomiting her at her.
The guards claimed that Cardi took her a “swing” at one point, but did not land the punch.
However, Ellis insisted that she would eventually need to undergo plastic surgery for a cut that sat on her face from a long “I Like It” fingernail. She is suing assault and battery.

The “Love & Hip Hop” alum sits in court as Ellis testified, with short hairstyles and a black blazer. She was surrounded by lawyers and appeared to have been composed during the trial.
Cardi had previously had legal problems due to her bad temper. In October 2018, she had to surrender to the police about another physical conflict she had at a strip club in New York earlier that summer.
The “Bongos” rapper was accused of assault and battery after assaulting a woman with a microphone during a 2023 performance in Las Vegas.
