On Wednesday night, the spectacular Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned for the second year in a row after a six-year hiatus.
The long-awaited runway event attracted not only new models but also veteran angels.
VS greats include Candice Swanepoel, who appeared in the brand’s 13th show. She was named a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2010 and made her first runway appearance in 2007.
The statuesque blonde model appeared in two separate looks during last night’s show.
Swanepoel’s first lingerie set was black and featured a crystal garter belt for after-hours glamour. She wore a lace bra and high-waisted panty set, sheer lace opera-length gloves and thigh-highs with the same see-through vibe.
A black chiffon train followed her like a cloak.
With her second look, the model entered a golden age.
The 5-foot-10-inch model wore a brown lace bra and thong set reminiscent of Jenna Ortega’s Givenchy top, which she paired with a top layered with jewels and necklaces.
Her wings, made using realistic feathers in an arched silhouette, were a shiny golden hue.
In addition to Swanepoel, familiar faces such as Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio were also seen, as well as new members of the Victoria’s Secret family including WNBA star Angel Reese and Olympic gymnast Suni Lee.
