Candiace Dillard Basset has formed a close bond with Donna Kelce in the upcoming season of “The Traitors.”
“Donna is an American mom (and) she was our castle mom,” the “Real Housewife of Potomac” alumni told Page 6’s Evan Real and Danny Murphy on Wednesday night at the “VRT” awards hosted by Tri-State Cadillac and Malibu.
“I’m still waiting for her to bake cookies to me, and she’s borrowing me some (Kansas City) Chiefs tickets,” Dillard Bassett added Cheekily.
“She’s really hard to contact,” the 38-year-old Bravo alumnus added before joking that she would issue a broadcast alert to get the attention of her co-stars.
Dillard Bassett also said that 72-year-old Kelse is a “jewel” and that the cast has praised her for “loving her.”
She also claimed that Matriarch is a fan of “Big Riality TV” and would talk about the shows she saw.
“Donna is really… cool. Look at her sons,” Dillard Bassett continued, referring to Jason and Travis Kelse.
“She got these amazing, successful Swaggie sons, she’s like a cucumber.
The “Drive Back” diva, who performed at this year’s “VRT” awards, pointed out that Donna should attend next year’s show, given her love for reality television.
Donna and Dillard Bassett were announced in June as part of the cast of “The Traitor.”
“Sunday was just the beginning,” the soccer champion mom captioned the clip through Instagram at the time.
“I’ve raised two playmakers, and now it’s Mom’s turn,” Donna added to her post at the time.
Other contestants for the upcoming season include “Survivor” alumni Natalie Anderson and Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho, “Dancing with the Star” Star Mark Ballas and “Love Island” alum Maura Higgins.
Following the press release, contestants who successfully complete a murder mystery game and complete a series of missions will be awarded an estimated $250,000 award.
A new season of the Peacock Show will be released in early 2026.
