Camila Mendes and Rudy Mancuso are engaged!
A rep for the actress confirms to PEOPLE that Mancuso, 33, proposed to Mendes, 31, on Friday, October 24.
“She was going to her producing partner Rachel Matthews’ birthday party, but it turned out to be a surprise engagement party,” a source tells PEOPLE. “Rudy proposed to her in front of his family and friends.”
And the celebration didn’t end there. “Around 11 p.m., they were still celebrating, so they went to a Glen Powell tracksuit and tequila-themed birthday party,” the source added.

Mendes’ engagement ring – featuring a large diamond ring on a silver band – was the centerpiece as she and Mancuso attended Powell’s birthday event at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
The two entered the venue holding hands and were in great spirits. At one point, Mancuso kissed his now-fiancée on the cheek.
The Riverdale alum wore a blue cropped tracksuit vest and matching pants, while the musician and YouTube star wore a beige sweater over a white shirt and black pants.
Mendes and Mancuso first sparked romance rumors in November 2022 after Mancuso posted a photo on social media of him kissing Mendes on the cheek.
The pair didn’t make their relationship official on Instagram until Valentine’s Day in 2023, but at the time Mendes wrote, “Valentine, I love you so much,” alongside an image of the couple kissing.
A year later, the two opened up to People about their romance and how it started on the set of the comedy-romance film Mushka.
The two first met on a screen test for Mendes, where sparks instantly flew. “There’s this two-minute silent video. There was no audio that day, so it’s all recorded with this silent video of us talking and interacting, so you can see this exciting energy and this giddy feeling,” Mendes recalled of the couple’s first meeting.
“It’s no exaggeration to say we had chemistry from the moment we met, and it certainly showed on screen,” agreed Mancuso.

The star also said, “Neither of us expected it to move this hard and this fast,” which Mendes agreed with, saying, “We just understand things in each other that I think are hard for other people to understand.”
“It worked because we got off set and started getting to know each other, and we were able to play that dynamic in real time in front of the camera while getting to know each other as characters,” Mendes added. “And there was a natural kind of charismatic chemistry.”
