Well, after last week’s bizarre and naughty episode, “Landman” is back. Things have definitely improved! Although M-Tex Oil’s finances appear to be quite precarious, at least one member of the Norris family has found success in the casino. Read on for analysis of all the action this week.
Oh, can you imagine a worse start to your morning than being lectured by Nate (Colm Feore)? Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) shows his love for America by boasting that he knows nothing about American history. united states of america! united states of america! “Am I talking to your ghost?” Good morning, Tommy. “It’s a curse that I have a sharp mind.” Damn, we’re not even two minutes into this episode and TL (Sam Elliott) brought me to tears. I love this vulnerable side of Tommy and TL. If Tommy and Angela (Ali Larter) negotiating money for sex isn’t real love, I don’t know what is. Is it… creative for Tommy to hire an exotic dancer to teach his father physical therapy? Of course, Angela and Ainsley (Michelle Randolph) have taken old men to strip clubs before. Damn, you know Angela can use that margarita machine to make delicious (and dangerous) frozen cocktails. Amazing George Strait needle drop. Why does Rebecca (Kayla Wallace) get into so many car accidents? Could Angela be a gambling genius? Who knew? A brave man attacks Cami (Demi Moore) while she’s reading alone at a bar. Wow, that’s disgusting… A man (Jay Huguely) touched her?!? Let go! Hey, Cami quickly fell out with Tommy. This meeting won’t go well. Good luck, Charlie (Guy Barnett)! You sound very smart even in high-pressure situations. Cami trying to bring morality to the oil industry sure sounds good, but she’s going to get eaten alive. Listen to your advisor, Kami! Just because you keep your word doesn’t mean you’ll get an award. Oops — Charlie, good luck finding the impossible-to-find gas! Double oh, Charlie: “What a lonely woman you must be.” Cut to the core! Oh, it feels good that Cami opened up to Tommy. She has a lot going on and he cares about it! Cheyenne (Francesca Xuereb) rocking the “Hot Lips” vanity license plate is amazing. Ha, I love how Nate takes casual insults. Good luck, Dale (James Jordan)! There is a Liz, but not a TL level Liz. Tommy, when you look at Garino (Andy Garcia) behind Kami, it looks like he’s digging his own grave. Not smart! Rebecca, Charlie cares enough about you to tell you the truth and challenge you. Don’t run away from it! It was a cute button in that storyline where Margaret (Deidre Chanel) comes home after her makeover and immediately excites her husband (Bobby Ray Coley Jr.). TL was so happy at the pool! “Can I ask TL if his whore is staying for dinner?” — Angela, the perfect host. Okay, Dale — that was a fun, naughty joke. It’s here! Does TL wear jeans at the pool? fashion icon.
