Unanimous Media, a production and multimedia company founded by NBA star Stephen Curry and multi-hyphenate creative Eric Payton, has signed with CAA and representatives.
Founded in 2018, the company develops, creates and distributes family, faith and sports-based content across films, books, podcasts and other industries. The unanimous lies behind the peacock comedy series “Mr. Throwback,” which marks Curry’s acting debut, and the upcoming animated sports comedy “Goat,” which will arrive in theaters via Sony on February 13th.
Payton serves as unanimous CEO, and Sharra Sampter Bridget recently joined the company as Chief Content Head, directing television, film, publishing and podcasts. Unanimity is currently working in a multi-year partnership with Comcast NBCuniversal to develop scripted, unscripted television projects and DreamWorks animations for Kids Family content.
The unanimous recent content slate includes Apple TV+Sports documentary Stephen Curry: Underrated, Netflix animation program Good Times, ABC’s mini golf competition series Holey Moley, Oscar-winning documentary The Queen of Basketball, HBO Max’s About Night, and NBC’s Black Pop: Power of Power
Earlier this year, the company announced a podcast slate with IheartMedia, debuting “Gote,” hosted by Curry and Travone Edwards, followed by “Fudd And and exk and” with Azzi Fudd and Ashanti Plummer. Unanimously, they will release a book called “Shot Lady,” which distills Curry’s philosophy of success through Random House on September 9th. The company is also behind the children’s books “I’m Extraordinary”, “I Have Super Power”, and “Sports Super Hero #1”.
In addition to the CAA, unanimous media continues to be represented by law firm Yorn Levine and Publicity House Midnight Dawn.
