Creative Artists Agency has named branding agent Courtney McHugh to executive position in its talent business venture group.
Mr. McHugh joins CAA after serving as a founding agent in United Talent Agency’s Venture Group, where he built global consumer brands and businesses in film, television, music, sports and digital talent.

McHugh brings over 10 years of experience at the intersection of talent, consumer and venture. At UTA, he led incubation efforts for category-defining brands, launching and scaling businesses from concept to commercialization, partnering with top talent such as Emma Chamberlain (Forbidden Fruit), Issa Rae, Taraji P. Henson, Elizabeth Banks, and Priyanka Chopra. Her work spans brand creation, product development, strategic partnerships and go-to-market execution.
Most recently, McHugh served as Chief Commercial Officer of Amplifye, a science-driven nutrition company. There, she led merchandising strategy, brand development and key industry partnerships. around the product (protein enzymes taken with meals to promote gut health and recovery). She is also an active advisor and investor in early-stage companies focused on consumer health, wellness, and next-generation brand platforms.
