Brooklyn Beckham does not want to have contact with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
As the family feud escalates, the Daily Mail reported Thursday that the 26-year-old chef and his parents exchanged letters last summer, but only through their lawyers.
Brooklyn reportedly said that she did not want to contact her parents or make any public statements about her on social media and that they should only contact her through her lawyer.
He reportedly made the request after being offended by a description of his wife, Nicola Peltz, that suggested he was “controlled” by her and that he was a “hostage”.
“David was asked to speak to them through[law firm]Schillings,” a source told the publication. “It was the only way for them to communicate.”
Representatives for Brooklyn and David did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Last month, David and Victoria’s 20-year-old son Cruz claimed that Brooklyn blocked both him and his parents on Instagram, refuting reports that David, 50, and Victoria, 51, were the ones who blocked Brooklyn.
“Not true. My mom and dad never unfollowed their son,” Cruz wrote.
“Let’s get the facts straight. They woke up and were blocked…and so was I,” he added.
Brooklyn was absent from David’s 2025 Instagram roundup, which included Cruz, 23-year-old Romeo, and 14-year-old Harper, but on the same day, Brooklyn posted a photo of David and her eldest son on her Instagram Story.
David thanked his family and wrote that he shared his love for all four of his children.
“You are my life,” he wrote in part. “I love you all, love daddy.”
Victoria then reposted Brooklyn on her husband’s Instagram Story.
Last October, a source told Us Weekly that Brooklyn has “no interest” in reconciling with the Beckham family, who had an apparent falling out last year.
Sources say he is “focused on living a peaceful, drama-free life” with his wife for the time being.
