Britney Spears is keeping friends close after being arrested for drunk driving.
The Princess of Pop spent Easter with an unexpected pair of A-listers over the weekend: songwriter Diane Warren and actress Molly Shannon.
The 44-year-old singer appeared in Warren’s Instagram post on Sunday, documenting their “fun afternoon with old friends.”
In the poolside photo, which was joined by Spears’ longtime manager Cade Hudson, the pop star gave the camera a middle finger.
The Grammy winner held a pink drink in her other hand.
In the photo uploaded to social media, she wore a burnt orange shirt, a black hat and fingerless lace gloves.
Shannon, 61, posted the same photo on her Instagram Story and set it to Spears’ single “Everytime.”
“So happy to see @britneyspears@dianewarren#cadehudson today,” the comedian wrote, along with a pink heart emoji.
As for Spears, the “Crossroads” star shared a close-up shot of her “sexy knees in Mexico” on Sunday, without providing further context.
Spears returned to social media last month after a brief hiatus following her arrest for drunk driving in Ventura County, California.
The dancer broke her silence about her legal troubles in a March 27 post featuring her son Jaden, 19.
“Thank you all for your support,” she exclaimed at the time. “It makes me so happy to spend time with family and friends!!!🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹Please be kind!!!”
A few days later, she was recorded going yachting with Jayden’s 20-year-old brother Sean Preston.
Later, her eldest son made headlines after he removed his father Kevin Federline’s last name from his Instagram handle.
Spears, who was arrested on March 4 with an unknown substance in her car, has been having “positive” and “hopeful” conversations with her children since being taken into custody, TMZ recently reported.
Jaden, in particular, was photographed rushing to his mother’s home in Thousand Oaks, California, after she was taken into custody.
Mr. Spears is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.
