Brigette and Daniel Ferron talk about working with twins (exclusive)

Being online in the influencer world now means sometimes doing a double take when the Felon twins cross your feed.

Identical twins Bridget Ferron and Danielle Ferron, 28, have taken the world by storm in recent years, influencing fashion and lifestyle, amassing more than 3 million followers across their Instagram and TikTok accounts.

Danielle’s content touches on her transition from a job in corporate America to her space in the world of lifestyle influencers. Meanwhile, Bridget, better known online as Acquired Style, has an online presence by experimenting with flashy outfits and hairstyles and pushing the boundaries of fashion.

The two often appear in each other’s content and share their daily interactions with their followers (as sisters often do).

For the twins, having the same look isn’t just a gimmick or a product of circumstance, they say, it’s what sets them apart in a saturated market.

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE ahead of the announcement of their new collaboration with slipper brand Dearfoams, the sisters said the twin power they portray online is the point and plan.

“It’s unique, so we try to use that to our advantage,” Daniel explains.

Bridget echoed her sister’s sentiments, saying: “Everyone is an influencer these days, so in an industry where it’s hard to stand out, being part of a sisterhood and twinning kind of holds us back in a way.”

Collaborating on the design of Dearfoams slippers is just one of the many ways the sisters have carved out a space for each other to collaborate.

They’re always busy, and their pages these days show them running from morning workout classes to evening appearances at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, but they also have fashion content to share with their millions of followers. That means these comfy slippers are the perfect backdrop for your 5am Pilates run or that super beautiful Sunday Reset video.

“Daniel and I have always really prioritized coziness and comfort, but we also love style and design, so we were able to combine those to create slippers that are truly ours,” says Brigette.

And of course, sisterhood transcends the grid. Until about a year ago, the two said they had never even lived apart from each other.

“We share everything… We’ve been together since we were in the womb, but we recently separated in the past year,” says Bridget, who moved in with her now fiancé.

“But whenever I need something, she’s a 10-minute walk away and I get it,” Daniel added. “The idea of ​​breaking up was tough, but we still see each other every day and work together, so it feels very smooth and very natural.”

The Ferron family is perhaps not typical sisters in that working, living, and playing together doesn’t always end in fights, like many other sisters.

“I think sisters always bump into each other no matter what,” Bridget laughs.

“But I feel like…” Daniel began.

“We work very well together,” Bridget concluded.

The two say they often bounce ideas off each other and help each other shoot content every day.

“I feel like we’ve never had more fights in our lives than coming together as influencers and content creators,” Daniel says.

While many content creators open up about the pressures of performing, the two are grateful to be in the space they are in.

“I think there’s pressure in any job,” Brigette says. “At the end of the day, it’s a job. And this job is the best thing ever, so we both feel very happy to even have this pressure.”

As the holiday season and end of the year approach, the twins always have an ever-increasingly busy schedule and a lot to look forward to. Holidays are a particularly fun time for Brigette, as her extravagant holiday outfits have been making headlines in recent years.

For Thanksgiving last year, she wore a custom cable-knit strapless sweater ball gown that cost about $9,000. As for her upcoming looks this year, she teased, “I’m doing some custom stuff and I’m really excited about it. I feel like I’m taking it to the next level every year.”

When it comes to the regular holiday season, the two style moguls have taken a slightly different approach than Bridget’s ephemeral, social-hit looks, and have “picked up” a few tips in their work.

“Invest in pieces that you’ll keep wearing, are timeless, and can be styled in many ways,” says Brigette.

Bridget also got engaged this year, and wedding planning is also on the sisters’ to-do list.

“I’m so excited about the wedding. Even if I work in social media, I don’t think I would be this excited,” she says. “I love how people promote their weddings and promote them on social. I’m definitely going to do the same…I don’t necessarily feel pressured because of it, but I think it makes it even more awesome because I can share it online.”

Surprisingly, Bridget hasn’t asked Danielle to be her maid of honor yet, but that request is currently in the works.

“I want to support Bridget in any way I can…It’s a really exciting moment for both of us,” she says. “I think she’s going to be a very poised, chic and beautiful bride.”

Both sisters say they’re “thriving from the pressure” their platforms bring.

“We’re so grateful every day. Even when we’re so busy and we feel so much pressure to put out so much content and be on trend, it’s an amazing challenge and pressure for us,” Brigette says.
