“Top Chef” winner Kelsey Bernard Clark has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after allegedly crashing into a car carrying two children.
According to TMZ, the Dothan Police Department in Dothan, Alabama, responded to a call Wednesday night about Clark allegedly driving his car into a mailbox.
Authorities told the report that when officers arrived at the scene, Clark smelled of alcohol and the driver showed other signs of impairment.
According to local news outlet WBRC, her two children were also reportedly in the car when the accident occurred, but no one was injured in the crash.
Clark, 35, was then taken to the Dothan City Jail and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Her children have reportedly returned home with their families.
The Dothan Police Department published her photo on its website in its daily arrest summary and listed her charge as “driving under the influence of alcohol.”
Page Six reached out to the Dothan Police Department along with Clark, but neither received an immediate response.
Clark won Season 16 of “Top Chef,” which is known for its Southern hospitality.
Clark recently appeared as a judge on the Netflix series “Next Gen Chef,” which premiered in September.
She is the mother of son Monroe, 8, and daughter Evelyn, 5, and often shares glimpses of her family life on Instagram, where she boasts more than 100,000 followers.
The Alabama native posted a daily video blog to Instagram on the day of her arrest, where she talked about balancing life as a mother and a chef.
