Several “Real Housewives of Miami” stars may not return for Season 8 of the reality show, a Page Six investigation has learned.
Sources say Gerdi Abraira and Julia Lemigova, who went from friends to enemies during Season 7, which ended with a three-part reunion in October 2025, are on the brink.
It is also said that there may be a third cast cut that will surprise fans.
Additionally, our sources say Stephanie Shojei has not agreed to return for a second season.
Some of our sources say that the producer is confused about how to proceed with his relationship with fan-favorite ex-wife Alexia Nepola, due to Todd Nepola’s $10 million defamation lawsuit against the station while it was on the air.
But as one of our sources points out, not only did Todd file for dismissal of the lawsuit (with prejudice) in December, but the showrunners have avoided his issues in the past and will do the same again.
Company insiders say executives are also considering how the “RHOM” cast looked at BravoCon 2025 in November.
Their panel discussion was far from the most entertaining or seamless of the weekend, and we’re told producers weren’t in a hurry to get the cameras back.
According to one source, there was talk of starting activities next month, but the date has not been finalized and no contract has been sent.
Season 7 starred Alexia, Abraira, Remigova, Shojay, Lisa Hochstein, and Larsa Pippen, as well as cast “friends” MarySol Patton, Adriana de Moura, and Kiki Barth.
According to our sources, the women are generally worried not only about the future of the series, but also about their own fate. However, “RHOM” is said to not be “on hiatus.”
A source claims that Bravo still has a strong interest in filming next season, but the network wants to take its time perfecting the cast.
Earlier this week, Andy Cohen made similar comments on his SiriusXM radio show, telling listeners, “I love ‘Miami.’ I think we’re looking at ways to keep it as fresh as possible. ”
He didn’t want the show to be “on this shelf for too long,” but also argued that “there are benefits to waiting.”
The Real Housewives spokesperson went on to point out that other cities, including New York City and Atlanta, have had longer breaks between seasons in the past, explaining, “This happens sometimes in the Bravosphere.”
The network’s representatives, Abraira, Remigoba, Shojay and Alexia, did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
