Once upon a time… on the hills of Hollywood.
Brad Pitt purchased a mansion in Hollywood Hills, California, with hopped security features and a starry past.
The charming Spanish-style home features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a pool, a fire pit, a home theater and a vegetable garden.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the 61-year-old “Fight Club” star has purchased the 8,385-square-foot property from Killers guitarist Dave Keening and his wife Emily.
The musician, who took the home from Grindr founder Joel Simkhai in 2021 for about $9.6 million, listed the property in June for just under $14 million.
With gorgeous views from downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean, this renovated Manse was originally built in 1989 and is located in the prestigious front-post estate where other A-list residents can find Orlando Bloom and Ben Affleck.
Upon entry, the new pads in the pits feature a beautiful double-height foyer with wood-like ceilings and arched doorways, creating a homey yet elegant atmosphere.
There is also a living room with steel French doors, a farm-style kitchen, several airy living rooms and a minimalist office.
The main bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea views from the city, while the en-suite bathrooms feature black-and-white marble bathtubs and a tuned, refined glass standing shower.
Those familiar with the deal said Pitt landed this particular acquisition due to sufficient existing security features in the House after the $5.5 million home was robbed in June.
“He wanted a place that could provide optimal security systems and privacy. This place caught my eye,” the source told the Post. “Long before his home was robbed, security was always a priority.”
The manners are well hidden behind lush landscaping, and are already pre-wired with state-of-the-art alarm systems. Hand Raid Brick Motor Coat is also behind the security entry.
The latest purchase of the “Formula 1” star joins his already impressive real estate portfolio.
Along with the recently imagined house for Ross Ferris, Pitt just sold other long-time compounds in the same neighborhood for $33 million.
He also bought Clifftop Home in Carmel Highlands for $40 million and co-owns the Château Miraval Winery in France.
