Blake Lively supported Taylor Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” release with a subtle nod.
The “It Ending Us” actress “liked” the hitmaker’s Instagram post on Thursday.
“I can’t say how proud I am to share this with you. It’s an album that I feel is so right,” Swift, 35, captioned a flashy gallery of showgirl-inspired photos on Thursday evening.
“I’ll always thank my mentors and friends Max and Shelbach for helping me paint this self-portrait. If you think a big show is wild, you should probably look behind the curtains… Showgirl’s life is out now.”
Lively and Swift representatives did not immediately return a request for comment on Page 6.
Lively’s incredible support gesture comes amid speculation that Swift’s track “Ruin the Franderssion” is about the obvious fallout of friendship with the actress.
However, after listening to the lyrics, which focused on high school romance, Page 6 confirmed that the song wasn’t about Swift’s friendship with the “Gossip Girl” alumni.
The original friendship was seen vibrant and swiftly, frequently outings on high fashion nights in town, but then flares up following an incident of lively sexual harassment against her “It Ends With Us” co-star Justin Bardoni.
Documents obtained on September 6th claimed that the hitmaker from “blank space” previously summoned by Bardoni’s legal team in May “consensus” as the judge extended the deadline for her testimony, simply because the subpoena would be removed that month.
According to the documents, Bardoni’s attorney, Erin S. Garofalo, argued that testimony must be given “in the week of October 20-25, due to Ms. Swift’s existing professional duties.”
Bardoni’s team insisted before that “we cannot do that.”
The diva’s lawyer denied that she agreed to testify in a letter to Judge Lewis J. Liman in September.
“My client did not agree to the deposit,” the statement read. “However, if she was forced to deposit, we recommended (after we first heard about the deposition just three days ago) that her schedule should be accommodated in the week of October 20th.”
Lively’s lawyers seem to have pushed back the idea that Swift “consent” to deposit their own submissions.
“In this latest effort, the Wayfarer defendant, particularly without evidence,
Swift appears to have “accepted” to sit for deposit between October 20th and 25th (approximately three).
Docs submitted by Lively’s lawyers read.
“Even so, even if they acquire the defendant’s representative at face value, they are not close to establishing a valid reason for the relief they are requested.”
Swift first became involved in the legal battle when 41-year-old Bardoni brought the singer to life the counterlow suit in January and denounced the terror and honour.
Bardoni claimed in a document that appears to be lively with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, as a protective “dragon” protecting her.
Sources said in February that the blunder felt that Swift was “using” Swift.
“Taylor really hopes that Blake didn’t drag her into the whole situation,” the insider told us. They “have been friends for years and Taylor cherishes authentic friendship, but she can’t help but feel that she is being used at this point.”
Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit was dumped by a judge in June, but Lively’s case is raging.
