Blake Lively’s proposed contract for her role in It Ends with Us was unsealed on Thursday as part of her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
She would be paid more than $1.7 million for her role in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel, according to a draft contract filed in the Southern District of New York and obtained by Us Weekly.
The “Gossip Girl” alum will be paid 10% of the film’s gross revenue in 2024, and will receive several bonuses based on the film’s box office performance ($250,000 for each major milestone) and multiple bonuses depending on whether it wins any major awards.
According to the unsigned draft, the 38-year-old actress will be paid $100,000 for an Academy Award nomination and $200,000 for winning, making her a total of $200,000 if she wins. Additionally, he would have been paid $75,000 if he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award, $100,000 if he won, $50,000 if he was nominated for a SAG Award, and $75,000 if he won.
However, Lively was not nominated for any awards.
Lively was also provided with a $1,500 assistant fee, a personal driver, use of a pop-up trailer with the usual amenities, and a $1,000 weekly stipend for training and meals while filming in New Jersey.
Lively, who has daughters James, 10, Inez, 9, and Betty, 6, and son Olin, 2, with husband Ryan Reynolds, was offered the option of flying her family, two nannies, an assistant and a security team on a private jet while filming in Las Vegas.
The contract also had a clause requiring all parties not to submit any issues to arbitration or to public court.
Lively ultimately did not sign the proposed contract.
Representatives for her and Baldoni did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
After the film’s release, Lively accused co-star and director Baldoni of sexual harassment, claiming that he made her and other women feel uncomfortable on set. She also accused Baldoni of launching a smear campaign in retaliation for his comments.
The Jane the Virgin actor, 41, has vehemently denied Lively’s claims and even tried to sue his former co-star for defamation, but a judge threw out the suit earlier this year.
Mr. Baldoni and Mr. Lively are scheduled to face off in court in March 2026.
