BLACKPINK’s Lisa shared a photo from her visit to Ichikawa City Zoo.
She was visiting a monkey named Punch.
Punch became a hot topic when he was alone at the zoo and was supported mentally by a stuffed monkey.
This weekend, Blackpink pop star Lisa went to Tokyo, Japan, and made an adorable visit to viral monkey star Punch. Punch is a monkey that lives at the Ichikawa City Zoo in Chiba Prefecture. He went viral after offering a stuffed orangutan to comfort him after being rejected by the other monkeys in his enclosure.
Lisa shared a photo of herself peeking into Punch’s enclosure and showing off her matching stuffed animal. In the photo, she is wearing a gray hoodie, jeans, and a white beanie hat, with a big smile on her face.
Lisa recently started filming her new movie “Tigo” in South Korea. BLACKPINK also just released their comeback mini-album last week in February, and they are very busy as singers and actresses.
In September 2025, Lisa spoke to AnOther magazine about her role in Season 3 of HBO’s The White Lotus and talked about working with creator Mike White.
“It was so much fun working on it,” she said. “I want to do more acting. It’s a world I want to know more about.”
During her time on White Lotus, Lisa said, “There were so many memorable moments, starting when I sent in my audition tape.”
“That was interesting. It was just me and my team filming in a hotel room,” she explained. “Then I flew to Thailand to meet with Mike White and the first conversation was great. Mike is really open-minded. During filming he was very open to me trying different things. He told my co-star Tammy (Tup Tim Thong) and I what we wanted to do. But they let us do it. And if there was something they wanted us to fix, they just told us how to do it. They’re all big stars. We had a great time together.”
