Billy Cradup and Naomi Watts are a supportive pair.
At the premiere of the new film Jay Kelly at the New York Film Festival on September 29, the actor, 57, revealed how he and his wife support each other’s careers in Hollywood.
“We’ve been doing this for a long time,” Cradup told people in an exclusive interview. “I think we each have some ideas about how we manage our careers, so we’ll do our best to support other people’s agendas.”
Watts, 57, supported her husband when she left hand-in-hand for Jay Kelly’s August 28 premiere at the Venice International Film Festival.
The King Kong star proudly planted a kiss on her husband’s cheek as the cast and crew of the George Clooney-led comedy posed to take a picture of the carpet.
Crudup and Watts were first linked in 2017 when they co-starred in Netflix’s Gypsy. They later got married in 2023.
The couple previously attended the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards, where they shared more insights about their bond. “We were talking about it this morning, what a power couple we were,” Crudup said E! News from that time. “I’m incredibly happy to be around her.”

The actress added, “A little eye contact just to put someone on your team, hold your hand and focus on yourself.”
Crudup, who shares her 21-year-old son William Parker with ex-Mary Louise Parker, has revealed that she will often trade some acting tips from the mom of him and Watts’ (16) daughter Kai Schriver and 17-year-old son Sasha Schreiber, along with her ex-husband Liev Schreiber.
“We talk a lot about the work and run through the ideas we have for the scenes and characters. And we have to say there’s absolutely no competitive atmosphere,” the Morning Show Emmy winner told E! news.
