Bill Hader and Ali Wong’s on-and-off relationship has reportedly come to an end.
According to People magazine, the comedians quit their jobs due to their “difficult” schedules.
The paper reported on Wednesday that Wong, 43, has an “upcoming stand-up tour” planned, while Hader, 47, is busy with “various film and television projects this year.”
However, the ex-lovers are said to be “focusing on work and their children, while continuing to support and cheer each other on.”
“They are very friends and still keep in touch,” the source claimed, calling the pair “very friendly.”
Representatives for Hader and Wong did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
In December 2022, shortly after Wong and Justin Hakuta’s divorce and Hader and Anna Kendrick’s divorce, news broke that the two had been dating for a “very short time.”
“They’ve been really busy, but[the breakup]was certainly amicable,” a source told Page Six at the time. “They are certainly friends.”
A source added: “Only a small group of A-list comedians knew about it and everyone was excited about it.[Their friends]helped protect their relationship in light of Ali’s divorce.”
However, by April of the following year, Wong and Hader were back together.
In an interview with Collider at the time, the actor casually mentioned his “girlfriend,” saying, “My girlfriend and I just realized that I haven’t taken a vacation in 10 years. I went to San Francisco with her, but that doesn’t really mean much. So I’m going to take a vacation.”
His rep confirmed that the “Barry” star was actually referring to Wong.
In February 2025, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Directors Guild of America Awards.
Although the two kept their relationship private, Wong explained in the 2024 “Single Lady” special how Hader wooed her with a “giant flower arrangement.”
The pair met on a dating app, and Hader said: “I just happened to hear about your divorce today and I have to tell you, I’m really excited because… I’ve always had a crush on you. In fact, I told my best friend years ago that you were the woman of my dreams.”
