Big Sean has denied any new relationship with the woman he was seen on camera with amid speculation that he and Jhene Aiko have split.
On Thursday, Nov. 6, the “I Don’t F— With You” rapper, 37, cleared the air after a social media blog accused him of breaking up with the “Stay Ready” singer, 37, who he dated for nearly a decade.
“Damn! After 10 years of wasting Jhen Aiko’s time, Big Sean is spotted with what appears to be his new girlfriend,” was the caption on an Instagram post shared by No Skips Tea.

The uploaded file included some footage from a livestream hosted by 21-year-old YouTuber N3on. In the clip, Big Sean enters a room full of people and passes an unidentified woman.
Although the “Mercy” rapper and the woman did not interact, Big Sean noticed the post and left two comments under the video.
“Yeah, unfortunately I’ve never met this person in my life lol,” he wrote.
The rapper’s second comment read, “This girl was standing next to @hitboy who was cut out of the video. But I don’t know why she was so close to me. I never noticed until I saw this video, so I can understand the frustration. Hmm 😂. But I don’t know this person at all.”
Big Sean and Aiko met in May 2012 and soon went on a date to a Lakers game, even though she had a boyfriend at the time. In a joint interview between the two artists with Flaunt Magazine in 2016, Big Sean said he “didn’t care” about his absence.
After years of collaboration, the pair appeared to confirm their relationship by kissing on stage in 2016.
The two briefly broke up in 2019, but rekindled their relationship a few months later and welcomed son Noah in November 2022.

Aiko is also the mother of daughter Namiko with former singer O’Ryan.
In August 2024, Big Sean spoke with iHeartRadio’s Charlamange Tha God and discussed why they never married despite being together for eight years and having one child together, while also denying that he and Aiko had a “secret marriage within the industry.”
“We’ve had our ups and downs, you know what I’m saying? And I think it’s still finding the right navigation through all of that,” the “Hate Our Love” artist said. “For me, marriage represents the best relationship.”

He later added, “I want to, and I don’t like putting our personal business out in the open like that, but there’s a lot of work to be done.”
Representatives for Big Sean and Aiko did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
