Beyoncé Knowles gave a fashion powerhouse to Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party on Saturday by wearing a $6,000 Fendi minidress backwards.
The 44-year-old “Cowboy Carter” singer attended the James Bond-themed bash wearing a black ribbed knit dress with a plunging V-back and reversed front.
Styled by longtime collaborator Ty Hunter, she layered the mink-trimmed number over a sheer mesh bodysuit, accessorized with matching mesh gloves, and a collection of Messika diamond jewelry.
She wore three layers of megawatt glitter around her neck. The brand’s White Midnight Sun Necklace alone features more than 2,400 stones, centered around a gigantic 3.55-carat pear-shaped diamond. And then there’s the Mille Feu necklace and the So Move Max choker.
She added some Messika rings and bracelets, and a pair of pave earrings to complete the look. (In keeping with the theme, of course, diamonds are forever in the Bond world.)
The superstar and her husband Jay-Z took advantage of priority parking to avoid camera flashes outside Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s $175 million mansion in Beverly Hills and managed to sneak into the party without being spotted by paparazzi.
However, Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, 71, was photographed arriving and later called the event one of the “best” parties she had ever attended in an Instagram post.
“The decor was beautiful and there was music playing, from Bruno Mars to the best DJ set ever, delicious food, and people dancing, laughing, and having fun. Kris looked gorgeous and felt the love and celebration of her life,” Tina wrote in the caption.
The older Ms. Knowles chose a glittering red dress and jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz.
