Blue Ivy Carter is all grown up.
The teenage daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s look-alike spent her summer in the public eye dancing with her superstar mother during Cowboy Carter’s tour, but she traded in her concert-ready jeans and bustier for a pink satin dress for a glamorous night in New York City.
And although Blue Ivy is only 13 years old, she looks as elegant and poised as you’d expect from the child of music royalty.
Blue Ivy looked beautiful in a pink satin sleeveless gown with a pink feathered jacket draped over her shoulders as she attended the 2025 Angel Ball at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Monday night.
On her feet were pink velvet Fendi kitten heels. She channeled true Old Hollywood glamor by choosing a Lorraine Schwartz diamond choker with a drop pendant and diamond stud earrings.
Blue Ivy was a guest of her grandmother, Tina Knowles, who was honored at the event, which raises money for blood cancer research.
Although Beyoncé wasn’t in attendance, she shared a selfie of Blue Ivy from that night on Instagram, captioning it, “Congratulations mom on winning the Philanthropy Award at Angel Ball tonight ❤️” in support of mother and daughter.
Tina also shared the same photo and wrote, “Tonight at the Angel Ball with beautiful Blue ❤️❤️❤️.”
Earlier in the day, Tina chatted with Sherri Shepherd about her gorgeous granddaughter’s talent, sharing, “It has to be taught. Kids can’t learn it from just an accident. You have to tell them, ‘Being a good person is more important.'” And that means you have to work for what you get. ”
“Nobody’s going to give it to you just because you’re somebody’s daughter or somebody likes you. You have to work hard,” she added.
Tina also talked about her younger granddaughter Rumi’s stage debut, and her adorable appearance quickly went viral. “The first night, she was so excited. People were making crazy comments, and Blue was like, ‘Rumi, you might need to calm that down.'”
Blue Ivy has already been on Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, danced at the NFL’s Christmas Day halftime show and was included in the song “Brown Skin Girl.” It is clear that she is rapidly coming into her own.
