Bethenny Frankel has a bad relationship with Taylor Swift’s superfans.
The former “Real Housewife” urged Swifties to “get shitty hobbies” instead of making pop stars their “whole identity” in a scathing TikTok on Tuesday.
“What’s up guys?” the former Bravolebrity, 54, captioned the social media upload.
In it, Frankel explained why he thinks “Taylor Swift’s polarization and division” is comparable to political parties.
“People are fighting about it,” she told her followers about the release of Swift’s album The Life of a Showgirl. “People take a stance. How about (this)? Someone is selling a product, selling music, providing entertainment, performing. And people either buy it or they don’t.”
Frankel argued that people should be able to “like it or not, invest or not invest” and be “okay” either way.
“What if you’re like me, someone who’s right in the middle? Instead of spending your whole life thinking about it or not, you just don’t think about it much. You don’t deeply care either way.
“What the hell happened to everyone?” Frankel continued. “Why does liking or disliking someone affect that person’s entire identity and personality?”
She concluded by whispering, “Have a stupid hobby.”
In particular, Frankel liked a comment that read, “As someone who’s in the middle too, I’m tired of everything and Taylor Swift needs a 5-10 year break. It’s time and she needs to grow like her fan base.”
Some social media users agreed with the former reality star’s opinion, with one jokingly calling himself a “Taylor Swift agnostic.”
However, another person wrote, “My hobby is listening to Taylor Swift,” and responded with applause.
Frankel previously caused a stir with the Swifties in September 2023, bashing the “So High School” singer for going “overboard” by being a “full football wife” at now-fiancé Travis Kelce’s NFL game.

At the time, the Skinny Girl creator told Swift, “You have to maintain your own identity and you don’t want to absorb your entire life into someone else’s life. You have to stay grounded and be yourself.”
Fans of the “Cruel Summer” singer applauded Frankel and claimed he was “real” in passionate comments.
One person pointed out, “I think she gives such a vibe and cheers on and supports all her friends. Look at her at the awards ceremony. She stands and cheers everyone on.”
But when the Grammy winner was booed at the Super Bowl in February, Frankel stood on the same side as the Swifties.
Earlier this year, the “Bethenny Ever After” alum slammed “mean” soccer fans via TikTok, claiming that “that says bad things for our daughters and our future.”
