Ben Affleck has nothing but good things to say about co-parenting with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
The actor spoke passionately about his three children, Violet (19), Serafina (16) and Samuel (13) at the premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman on Monday, and mentioned his former partner.
“I can’t be more proud of my kids, I can’t tell anyone,” he told Access Hollywood on the New York City red carpet.
“(Violet) looks like her mother. She’s amazing,” the Ghosn Girl star spoke passionately about her eldest son, who recently gave a passionate speech at the UN headquarters calling for a post-COVID mask mandate to combat “unmitigated infections and reinfection.”
Affleck added, “I’m very fortunate to have great partners and wonderful children. It’s a joy in my life, I’m really, really fortunate. I’m happy every day.”
He and Garner (both age 53) welcomed Violet, Seraphina and Samuel in 2005, 2008 and 2012, respectively.
The Daredevil co-stars got married in 2005 and parted ways in 2015. However, the divorce was officially concluded in 2018.
Despite the breakup, the couple remained friendly co-parents.
In July, Affleck and Garner were spotted watching the Red Sox game at Fenway Park in the front row alongside their youngest children.
And last month, the two took Serafina and Samuel to Los Angeles to watch a movie.
Later, when Affleck married Jennifer Lopez, the “Let’s Get Loud” singer gave him some unusual insight into his then-husband’s relationship with Garner.
The Grammy nominee told Vogue in 2022 that “they’re working together very well.”
Lopez, who settled on his divorce with Affleck earlier this year, called the then-Oscar winner and Garner “a wonderful co-parent.”
