He has a new cast! Ben Affleck’s next Super Bowl ad for Dunkin’ will feature more stars than a box of Munchkins.
Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Jason Alexander, Tom Brady, Alfonso Ribeiro and Ted Danson will all appear at Affleck’s secret new Dunkin’ spot, sources exclusively tell Page Six.
I hear Danson will appear as his “Cheers” character, Sam Malone.
Affleck was filming the project, called Good Will Dunkin’, a riff on the Oscar-winning 1997 film in which he co-starred with Matt Damon, in Los Angeles on a set so quiet that production crew members reportedly had to “put tape over cell phone cameras for added security,” we hear.
This is Affleck’s latest Dunkin’ mini-epic, which he produced, directed and stars in.
Of course, this ad includes an ode to Affleck’s hometown, so he’s bringing Boston’s finest. Brady, a New England Patriots icon, will return after appearing on Affleck’s hit show “Dunkings” in 2023, while Danson played a former Red Sox pitcher turned bartender on the classic Beantown-based sitcom “Cheers.”
The new ad will also feature a Friends reunion between Aniston and LeBlanc, sources claim, and stars from other classic sitcoms Seinfeld (Alexander) and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (Ribeiro) will also appear.
(We can only hope that Ribeiro brings the famous “Carlton Dance” to the glamorous stage!)
The blockbuster ad follows Affleck’s 2025 Super Bowl Dunkin’ spot, which featured former Patriots coach Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson, as well as Donnie Wahlberg, Druschi, Succession star Jeremy Strong, Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes and his brother Casey Affleck.
Affleck’s 2024 Dunkin ad featured his “Good Will Hunting” co-star Damon and his then-wife Jennifer Lopez, before the famous duo broke up again.
In the 2023 Dunkin’ spot, Affleck co-starred with Brady and Damon appeared as the fictional boy band Dunkings.
But no matter how many big-budget ads the 53-year-old Affleck creates for his popular donut brand, none will probably match all the viral moments he provides by being photographed in nature holding a Dunkin menu item that has spawned endless memes.
Affleck said he eats at the chain every day.
“It’s amazing!” the star revealed in an interview with Collider when the brand expanded to Southern California in 2019. “I eat Dunkin Donuts every day. It’s so weird. Even though I eat it every day, people always say, ‘Where is that? Is it near here?'” So I feel like I’m spreading the word. ”
Let’s hope this new Dunkin’ project doesn’t have any plot holes.
