Bella Hadid responded to a fan who asked why she was “having a hard time” walking during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
A week ago, a TikTok user asked a model during a show what she was doing wrong. This netizen claimed that she seemed to “keep crying throughout the show” and demanded to know what they had to do to make her feel better.
“Who do we have to get?” a fan asked further, eliciting a response from the 29-year-old.
“Daughter, I got my period this morning, but I still haven’t recovered my strength after suffering all the time in the hospital,” Hadid privately responded to her recent hospitalization due to a Lyme disease flare-up.
“But I did my best and I love you for this,” she added. “It’s okay, I promise 😭😭😭😭 I’m sorry if I disappointed you 😭😭 I love you, I mean it 🥹💕‼️‼️‼”
Users were shocked to see the Victoria’s Secret Angel’s candid response, with one replying: “Bella Hadid, what the hell are you doing???”
Hadid first sparked concern from fans when she appeared on the lingerie giant’s runway in New York City on October 15th.
The IMG model initially appeared confident in a devilish red lingerie set, but when she closed the show in a silver outfit and matching angel wings, she looked visibly depressed.
Hadid bravely strutted down the runway, slowing down at the last minute and holding on to the wing straps.
At the time, several fans commented on her appearance, with one fan commenting on TikTok, “She was having a hard time.”
“I thought she was going to fall,” another agreed.
The Orebella perfume creator responded to the concerns in a since-deleted Instagram Story, writing, “Okay (sic) I’m not going to pretend this wing didn’t weigh 50 pounds, but how beautiful.”
Bella returned to work after her mother Yolanda Hadid revealed in an Instagram photo last month that she was hospitalized as she continues to battle Lyme disease.
The snap showed Bella, who was diagnosed in 2013, sitting in a hospital bed with an IV in her arm.
At the time, Bella also shared several bedside photos and apologized to fans for being “MIA.”
