Nadia Gray has been added as a recurring guest star to Fox’s long-awaited Baywatch reboot, Variety has confirmed.
Gray will play Lisa, a paramedic and partner of a team of lifeguards rushing Venice Beach. The character is said to have a special affinity for one of the Baywatch team. The actor joins a previously announced ensemble of Stephen Amell, Brooks Nader, Hussie Harrison, Shay Mitchell, Jessica Belkin, Thaddeus LaGrone, Livibee Dunn, and Noah Beck.
Gray will next be seen in a supporting role opposite Holt McCallany (Iron Crow) in the indie film Paradise Disturbed. Previous roles include opposite Wilson Bethel on the CBS-OWN series “All Rise.” Additional credits include a supporting role in the top-rated Netflix film “Bright,” starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton, and a recurring role on NBC’s “Days of Our Lives.”
Gray is represented by Adrian Hamerski of Brave Artists Management and attorney Adam Vitabile of Hirsch Wallerstein Hayum Matlof and Fishman.
Other recurring stars booked for this new “Baywatch” include Ashley Moore, Kyler Miranda, Luke Eisner and Charlie McElveen. Paparazzi flocked to the early production shoot in Los Angeles.
According to the official synopsis, Amell stars as Hobie Buchannon, “the wild child we all loved from the original series,” who is “now following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch, as Baywatch’s captain.” “Hobie’s world is turned upside down when his unknown daughter Charlie shows up on his doorstep, eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy and join her father as a Baywatch lifeguard.”
