Jonah Hill once again surprised fans with a new look.
The “Wolf of Wall Street” star, 42, was almost unrecognizable in a still from the upcoming Apple TV movie “Outcome” shared to Instagram on Tuesday.
Hill, who not only wrote and directed the film but co-starred with Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer, sported a bald head and silver beard as he placed his hand on Reeves’ shoulder in one scene.
The “Superbad” actor debuted his slim frame on the set of another project in October, and he shows off his lean figure again in new stills from “Outcome.”
“Leaf Hawk, a Hollywood poster child since the age of six, is not okay,” reads the official synopsis for the film from Apple TV.
It added: “Upon learning of a blackmail plot related to a mysterious video, Leaf sets off on a preemptive redemption tour to make amends, face his demons, and avoid cancellation.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reeves, 61, will play the lead character Leaf Hawk in Hill’s new black comedy. Diaz, 53, and Bomer, 48, play his best friends.
Meanwhile, Hill will play the role of Ira, a crisis attorney.
The star-studded supporting cast is joined by other film and television stars, including Martin Scorsese, Susan Lucci, David Spade, Roy Wood Jr., and Kaia Gerber.
The “21 Jump Street” star, who previously directed the 2018 film “Mid90s” and the 2022 documentary “Stutz,” described his latest project at a press event Monday as “a metaphor for what we all go through as we live our lives on social media,” according to THR.
“Social media has made us care about what people we don’t know think about us, instead of worrying about what the people who know us best think about us,” he said.
Outcome isn’t the only new movie Hill plans to make. Later this year, he will also star in Cut Off, co-starring Kristen Wiig.
Hill is directing, producing and co-writing the new comedy, and was photographed filming the film in Los Angeles last year.
Photos from October showed the actor-turned-director wearing a tight leopard-print turtleneck and skinny jeans, showing off his slim physique as he entered and exited his trailer.
He completed the seemingly ’70s-inspired look with a shaggy blonde wig and thick-rimmed glasses.
But while Hill’s slim appearance on the set of Cut Off and the new Outcome still certainly impressed fans, this won’t be his first weight-loss journey throughout his film career.
Back in 2018, in a candid interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the “Moneyball” star opened up about her weight fluctuations, revealing that she “spent most of[my]adolescence listening to people tell me that[I was]fat, ugly, and unattractive.”
“I truly believe that everyone has a photo of themselves when they were younger that they’re embarrassed about,” Hill said at the time.
“For me, it was an overweight, unattractive 14-year-old boy who felt ugly to the world, listened to hip-hop, and really wanted to be accepted into the skater community,” he added.
