Tonight is basically the Super Bowl of music — and Bad Bunny is decked out for the moment.
The 31-year-old, who will soon headline the halftime show, hit the 2026 Grammys red carpet wearing a Schiaparelli velvet tuxedo with a cheeky twist.
Viewed from behind, the debonair ensemble revealed a lace-up detail that continued to the back of the jacket like a corset, with gold eyelets and leather laces. In keeping with that theme, the jacket was cinched at the waist to create a curvaceous silhouette.
This was the first major menswear red carpet appearance for Schiaparelli, led by Daniel Roseberry, which is a purveyor to stars such as Ariana Grande, Teyana Taylor and Bella Hadid.
The Puerto Rican musician accessorized with a white floral pin on his lapel, a white pocket square, a black bow tie, and Cartier jewelry.
The reggaeton superstar has been nominated in six categories tonight, including major categories such as Album of the Year for Debí Tirar Más Fotos, Song of the Year and Record of the Year for DtMF.
Win or lose tonight, this is sure to be a big week for him considering he will be performing in the Super Bowl halftime show next Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Shortly after the news was announced, he hit back at critics in a monologue on “Saturday Night Live” last year, quipping, “You guys may not know this, but I’m doing the Super Bowl halftime show. And I’m very happy, and I think everyone is happy too.”
Bad Bunny is sure to go big in costume for his historic performance, which marks the first time the show will be conducted almost entirely in Spanish.
After all, the global superstar is known for her style, from setting tongues wagging in a steamy Calvin Klein ad to wearing a matador-like Maison Margiela ensemble on the Met Gala red carpet.
He was also named one of Vogue’s 2025 best-dressed women, posing for the magazine in high-fashion looks including a Dior dress and tiny knit shorts.
“He always knows what he wants,” longtime stylist Storm Pablo told the magazine. “His biggest characteristic is that he doesn’t look like a mannequin, even though we feel the same way.”
