“Bachelor’s” alumnus Andrew Firestone calls him quit after his wife, Ivana Firestone, after 17 years of marriage.
“After a lot of reflection and hours of counseling, we decided that we could do our best for our children. We decided to respect our family commitment by moving forward individually as co-parents,” the season 3 contestant wrote in an Instagram statement that was deleted over the weekend, according to the US Sun.
“This hasn’t been an easy decision, but we continue to unite in raising our children with love, stability and the value we share.”
Andrew, 50, said he and Ivana, 47, “are no longer a couple,” but they are committed to “cheering from our children, our real proverbs on the sidelines for the happiness and success of each other.”
“The 17-year marriage is a product of our deep honor as we brought generational bonds and friendships over a forged lifetime with our three extraordinary children,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Ivana subtly speaks to Split in a photo of herself relaxing outdoors on Sunday, working on three things: “She’s now herself, her life, her future. She’s me.” ”
exe is the parents of three children: Adam, 16, Anja, 14, Shane, 11.
Andrew and Ivana were engaged to the latter 30th birthday party in 2007, and the following year they tied the knot in Santa Barbara, California.
The TV personality had previously gushed out in a previous interview with his estranged wife in the US in 2005 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.
He remembered that he needed to ride a flight in three hours when his friend insisted that “there is a girl you have to meet.”
“She’s incredibly beautiful, she stands up and wears a sweatsuit with this big wet mark. She laughs and says, ‘I was sitting in a puddle.’
“How disarming is it to see this beautiful girl laughing for herself?” Andrew said.
The reality star explained that Ivana was “off” by his history on reality television and did not watch the season of “The Bachelor” in 2003.
However, Ivana also told the outlet that she was impressed by how “real” Andrew was.
During Andrew’s season in the dating series, he was engaged to Jencheft.
However, the duo split a few months later, and Andrew revealed that he was “probably a little too young.”
