Sidney Gordon is engaged!
The Bachelor alum, 30, said yes to boyfriend Nathan Nel after seven months of dating. She announced the happy news on Sunday, January 25, by sharing a romantic proposal video on Instagram.
The video shows Nell on one knee in a scenic location, believed to be in her native South Africa. He and Gordon then kissed and hugged each other, enjoying the moment.
“My soul is forever intertwined with yours @natenelnel,” Gordon, founder of Rhode Island-based vintage store Folk Vintage, wrote in the caption of the post.
In the text accompanying the video, she added: “No one can tell you the feeling you get when the person you love more than anything in this world asks you to spend eternity with them. It’s not about rings and weddings, it’s about mutual devotion, spiritual entanglement, and the excitement of being one unit forever.”
Many Bachelor Nation stars shared their love in the comments of the post, including Hakeem Moulton, who wrote, “Congratulations to the Queen!!!” Caitlin DeBacker congratulated him, saying, “Love love love!! Congratulations, Sid.”
After getting engaged, Gordon, who competed for Joey Graziadei’s heart on Season 28 of The Bachelor, shared a glimpse of his sparkling engagement ring on his Instagram Stories.
She wrote above the clip: “Three years ago I got a tattoo of an empty heart. So that my heart will be full when I find my man someday.”

Gordon first revealed his relationship with Nell, a wellness coach and founder of Vitalis Wellness, in a series of TikTok videos in August 2025. At the time, Gordon said the two had only known each other for two months, but “I already knew he was the one.”
The former reality star went on to reveal that she met Nell at a festival in South Africa after two people she met in the US introduced her to a wellness coach. When Gordon returned home, she and Nell continued to exchange messages, and soon Nell invited Gordon to come back to South Africa.

The two immediately fell in love. “I know this guy better than the guy I was with for four years,” she explained on TikTok. “I met all of his family, I met all of his friends, and we matched in every way. I never really knew this kind of love existed until I met Nathan.”
Gordon has since revealed that the two are living together in Newport, Rhode Island. “A lot of people think I’m crazy and moving too soon, but to be honest, I’m a big believer that I know when I know,” she said. “And when you love someone, you’ll literally do anything for them. Now this guy’s moving here. He’s moving to Newport with me.”
In a TikTok update on January 3, Gordon revealed that he and Nell were returning to South Africa. “30 years old, no kids, no home. Next week I’m moving to my favorite place in the world (Cape Town) and opening my second vintage shop,” she wrote on a clip of herself applying lip gloss.
She added in the caption: “This is a sign to follow your dreams, no matter how crazy they may seem. I’m so excited for this new chapter in Cape Town.”
