Austin Butler purchased a Los Angeles home from Brad Pitt months after the highly-prominent property was attacked by robbers.
According to TMZ real estate sources, the 34-year-old “Elvis” actor acquired the “F1” star’s historic Ross Ferris property for $5.2 million after it closed its sale last Friday.
Butler’s representatives did not immediately return a request for page 6 of comments regarding the purchase.
The deal between “Time in Hollywood” co-stars came almost three months after Pitt’s real estate was targeted by burglars in June.
A LAPD spokesman told Page 6 at the time that three suspects “looted” the property on June 25 after expanding the fence and breaking into the front window on June 25.
They escaped with an unknown amount of items, but the actor was not at home. Pitt took on a “F1” press tour during the robbery and attacked the red carpet premiere in New York, Mexico and London.
The sale took place just two years after “Wolfs” actor 61-year-old acquired himself in a star-studded estate swap of his home in a star-studded estate swap, according to the Daily Mail.
In April 2023, the father of six scooped an L-shaped property known as the “steelhouse” from Getty for $5.5 million.
Butler’s impressive new 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home features over 2,000 square feet of living space, featuring solar panels, luxury built in the sauna and a vast outdoor pool among other amenities.
As for the pits, the post confirmed in early September that it had purchased a $12 million Hollywood Hills Estate with upgraded security features.
The spacious 8,385-square-foot Spanish-style property features six bedrooms and eight bathrooms in addition to a theatre, a fire pit and a pool, but it was the home security features that attracted the pit.
“He wanted a place that could provide optimal security systems and privacy. This place caught his eye,” explained to the post of the house, reported by the Wall Street Journal.
They said, “Long before his home was robbed, security was always a priority.”
