Aubrey Plaza is reportedly pregnant with her first child.
The 41-year-old actress is expecting a baby with her partner, actor Christopher Abbott, and is due in the fall, People reports.
“After an emotional year, this was a wonderful surprise,” a source told the magazine. “They feel very blessed.”
Page Six reached out to a Plaza representative for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.
Plaza tragically mourned the death of her late husband, Jeff Baena, in January 2025. The screenwriter died by suicide, according to online records from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office obtained by Page Six. He was 47 years old.
The couple, who married in 2021, separated four months before Baena’s death.
Plaza broke her silence about his death last August during an appearance on Amy Poehler’s “Good Hang” podcast.
“I’m so happy to be with you at this very moment,” she told her former “Parks and Recreation” co-star. “Overall, I’m here and I’m functioning.”
Plaza said she is “so grateful to be able to travel the world” and feels “okay.”
She later spoke openly about her grief.
“There’s always a huge, scary ocean right there, and you can see it.”
she continued. “Sometimes you just want to jump in there and be in it. And sometimes you look at it, and sometimes you just try to get away from it, but it’s always there.”
It’s unclear when the relationship between Plaza and Abbott, 40, turned romantic, but the two have worked together for years. The two co-starred in the 2023-2024 Off-Broadway revival of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, and also co-starred in the 2020 comedy-thriller Black Bear.
