As the ‘toxic’ mom group drama continues to escalate, Ashley Tisdale was spotted out and about alone while taking an important call.
The “High School Musical” star was photographed in Malibu on Friday wearing a casual light pink sweatshirt and brown leggings while chatting with someone on her smartphone.
She completed her relaxed look with turquoise socks and black sneakers, and wore her brown hair in soft waves.
The mother-of-two wore white retro-style sunglasses at one point when she was snapped by a photographer during an outing.
She was also spotted carrying a water bottle and texting while walking around a sunny shopping mall.
The Disney Channel alum’s solo outing this weekend comes amid drama sparked by Tisdale’s recent essay in The Cut. In it, Tisdale criticized her former mom group as “toxic”, saying she felt “not cool enough” after being banned from hangouts.
Tisdale, 40, recalled texting the group to let them know he was cutting ties with the group because it was “too high school” for him.
Although Tisdale won’t name anyone, she is said to be connected to a group of high-profile moms, including A-listers Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor.
Duff’s sister Hayley Duff appeared to support Tisdale by liking The Cut’s post featuring the article, while Hilary’s husband Matthew Koma appeared to slam Tisdale for being “self-absorbed” in a cryptic Instagram Story.
Meanwhile, Trainor shared a clip of herself “obviously researching mom group drama” while surfing the internet, and seemed surprised by the drama. Her 2025 hit “Still Don’t Care” played in the background.
Traynor’s husband, Daryl Sabara, downplayed the drama on Thursday, telling TMZ, “There’s no drama here,” adding of Tisdale, “I hope she’s okay.”
A source appeared to praise Koma’s vicious social media attack on Wednesday, claiming to Page Six that Koma “gave her what she wanted.”
The source added that Ms Tisdale was “intolerable” and said the rift had “been going on for a long time”.
