Ashley Park takes her love of crochet seriously!
The 34-year-old Emily in Paris star referred to her hobby as her “Roman Empire” during an interview with PEOPLE at the Season 5 premiere on Dec. 15 in Paris, France.
“I just finished a succulent to give Lily (Collins) emotional support. I was planning to give it to her when we started printing,” she says. “And I’m just, I’m already thinking, I’ve already started a mini-project for everyone. So that’s it for now.”
Park added, “It’s a bit nerdy, but that’s what makes it so cute.”

Park revealed on the Dec. 8 episode of Good Morning America that she’s been crocheting for Collins’ 10-month-old baby, Tobe Jane McDowell.
“It’s just become a hobby. It’s like starting an Etsy shop,” she joked.
Park also gifted Drew Barrymore a crocheted daisies coaster during a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. The host called the gift “so beautiful.”
The latest season of Emily in Paris, which stars Collins and Park and stars Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu and Lucas Bravo as the titular Emily Cooper, takes on Rome, was released on Netflix on Thursday, December 18th.

PEOPLE caught up with Park (who plays Emily’s best friend Mindy Chen) and Collins while riding the Venice-Simplon-Orient Express for the Season 5 celebration, and they candidly talked about their incredible bond off-screen.
Collins said Park was “the only person who knows that when she feels something, I feel it too, whether it’s excitement or happiness or anger or sadness.”
“And you can get it from text messages and her songs and things like that. I’ve never experienced that,” Collins said. “There was an empathy between the two of us and we really bonded from day one.”
Park added that her favorite thing about her friendship with Collins is that they “came into each other’s lives without needing anything from each other.”
“And we still aren’t,” she said. “We can go weeks or even minutes without talking, but I know that if I ever really need someone or something, she’s always there to help, even if I don’t even know how to ask for it, and vice versa.”
‘Emily in Paris’ Season 5 is now available on Netflix.
