She has a strong support system.
Ashley Graham showed off some impressive engineering, including a ton of glue, under her sexy CFDA Awards Kallmeyer dress.
The 38-year-old model took to Instagram to share a merry-go-round behind-the-scenes snap from the fashion industry extravaganza. That included the tape on her chest and shapewear that kept her in shape all night.
“It was a great night with @cfda 🤍 Thank you @meta 🤍,” she captioned the post.
Graham wore an artfully draped ivory silk dress by New York City-based designer Daniela Kallmeyer, who was nominated for American Women’s Wear Designer of the Year at the event. The model attended as Meta’s guest.
In a video shot in a bathroom at the ceremony, Graham celebrates the award and praises the styling secrets that got her there: “I made it to the CFDA! The dress was a success, it was a success, and my boobs are taped up.”
The clip also features Cult Gaia founder Jasmine Hekmat and WNBA star Angel Reese, who commented on Graham’s Instagram post, “Bathroom time with the bad guys 😍🤪.”
Meanwhile, fans were fascinated by the mother-of-three’s styling hacks. One commenter wrote, “That chest tape is tape! Needs an instructional video! Gorgeous as always! 🔥.”
“Boob tape is truly a miracle,” influencer Lauren Wamboldt added, to which Graham responded, “It’s so true 🙏🏼.”
The model has previously praised the adhesive alternative to bras by sharing a video of the “free cam dress” she wore to a friend’s birthday celebration in 2022, but the dress required an “uncomfortable” amount of boob tape to “encourage the girls.”
Graham’s Instagram merry-go-round posts showed glimpses of the prep work that went into her look, including a video from the back of the limousine bus where stylist Eva Dees steams her dress and hairstylist Rosibel Del Jesus puts the finishing touches on her hair.
The model also shared a snap from inside the ceremony, where guests ate chicken pot pie. “We always have pot pie at CFDA because it’s Anna’s favorite,” she said, noting that Vogue’s global editorial director Anna Wintour is known to love the dish at the annual event.
Graham attended the ceremony at the American Museum of Natural History along with celebrity stylist Law Roach and actress Ryan Destiny.
