Ariana Grande went all the way back to 1950 to find the perfect dress for her latest event.
The songstress hit the red carpet on Friday at the Paris premiere of Wicked: For Good in an elegant black dress with fuchsia pink lining and floral details.
According to Marie Claire, the midi-length frock (Lili’s diamond look was chosen by stylist Law Roach of Beverly Hills second-hand boutique Timeless Vixen) also included a spacious cape with a matching hot pink lining.
A hidden corset and loose-fitting spaghetti straps echoed its vintage 1950 origins, while the hitmaker accessorized with black pumps and delicate diamond stud earrings.
She styled her hair in a voluminous updo and wore classic makeup in a deep pink shade.
Grande, 32, who plays Glinda the Good Witch on both Wicked and Wicked: For Good, appeared on NBC’s Wicked: One Wonderful Night special on Thursday night wearing a whimsical pink butterfly-covered gown.
Robert Wang’s custom ball gown featured a full skirt, 3D butterflies on the bust and skirt, and a flattering strapless design.
She completed her attention-grabbing look with matching butterfly earrings that seemed to flutter during her performance, and bubblegum pink opera gloves.
Roach shared the photo on Instagram and gushed about the work.
“One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen… Ali in a custom @robertwun,” he captioned the upload.
“Thank you Robert and the team for making our dreams come true! 💕💕💕”
Roach previously reflected on his “imagination” in styling the actress with a parade of pink candy during the film’s press tour.
“We spend hours trying on things, laughing and swearing. There’s just a lot of daydreaming and imagination,” he said at an event in Los Angeles on Oct. 23.
The celebrity stylist, who has been praised for her work with the likes of Zendaya, also revealed that she has worked with Grande in the past.
“It feels like coming home and it’s so fun to see two of our best friends reunite and get to play with clothes, and a lot of clothes,” he said.
