Ariana Grande poked fun at an apparent photoshop fail in a cheeky new social media comment.
Fan Instagram account @ourpinkwitchh shared a Vogue Japan snapshot of the “Wicked” star wearing a cream-colored floral Dior miniskirt and top, elegantly raising her left hand. In a close-up, the left hand appeared to have the faint outline of a sixth finger.
The hitmaker wore sheer white gloves and some of her hand tattoos were visible in the shot.
A fan account questioned, “Who’s responsible for giving Ariana six fingers…😭,” to which Grande responded in the comment thread, “Oh my god.”
In a later comment, she hilariously added, “Oh my god, how exciting! I kept saying I needed extra accessories to start the album! Thank you for this.”
Fans were quick to react to Grande’s witty comment, with one joking, “I knew you were hiding something,” while another chimed in, “Ariana AI Grande.”
“This is my wallpaper and I just realized it 😭,” quipped a third, while a fourth confessed: “I didn’t notice at all.”
A representative for Vogue did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
It is unknown where the original image came from. There was no sign of a second pinky in the photo, which is nearly identical to Vogue Japan’s stunning new spread featuring the singer. Grande, 32, expressed a retro vibe by wearing several dresses in her high fashion photo collection.
The multi-talented actress, who won the Rising Star Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival earlier this month, has previously joked about how she has honed her youthful looks in the past.
“You have no idea how much that means to me,” she said after Jennifer Coolidge called her on stage, according to People magazine.
“Having been acting since I was a child, I never thought I would hear the words ‘rising star’ again at the age of 31. So first I wanted to thank my two friends, Botox and Juvederm.”
Grande isn’t the only celebrity caught up in an apparent Photoshop mistake.
In August, a fan criticized Kris Jenner for having six toes in an Instagram photo, and her daughters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner were previously criticized for having six toes in an ad for a 2019 fragrance collaboration.
Celebrities like Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, “Real Housewives of New York City” alum Ramona Singer, reality star Khloe Kardashian and “RHONJ” personality Teresa Giudice have also been accused of Photoshop mistakes in recent years.
