Egyptian multi-hyphenate Mohamed Ramadan, who last year became the first Egyptian artist to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, has signed with William Morris Endeavor Agency for global representation in all fields.

Ramadan, 37, who is based in Cairo, is widely known throughout the Middle East as a film and television superstar, singer, rapper and producer. He has over 85 million social media followers worldwide, 34 million of whom are on Instagram.

In June 2020, Ramadan surpassed 10 million subscribers on his YouTube channel and became the first Egyptian artist to win YouTube’s Diamond Creator Award. His videos currently have over 6 billion views on the platform.

On the film front, Ramadan will next be seen in the lead role in the Arabic epic “The Lion” by Egyptian director Mohamed Diab, who also directed the Marvel movie “Moon Knight,” which is inspired by the ancient Roman rebel slave Spartacus.

Ramadan’s career began in Egyptian films and television series, including the popular 2006 show “Cinderella” and renowned author Yusry Nasrallah’s hit feminist drama “Scheherazade, Tell Me a Story” (2009). The thriller “Abd Mota” (2012) and the two-part action-adventure film series “The Treasure” and “The Treasure 2” (2017, 2019) are among other cinematic masterpieces.

He also increased his level of stardom throughout the Arab world by playing lead roles in other hit TV dramas such as ‘Ibn Halal’ (2014). In Al Ostaura (2016), he played two roles. and “Jaafar Al Omda” (2023).

Ramadan, who has appeared in over 45 Egyptian films and television series, has won Egypt’s “America’s Greatest Talent” award three times in a row. He also received the prestigious Murex d’Or Award for Best Arab Actor.

Alongside his musical career, Ramadan fuses Arabic pop, hip-hop, and Afro-influenced sounds. His 2020 single “Ya Habibi,” a collaboration with French-Congolese rapper Gims, was a huge hit across the Middle East and Africa, reaching number one on charts in 15 countries and establishing him as a major new artist in the region. Ramadan also released several other hit songs, including “Number One” (2018). Won the highest award at AFRIMA (All African Music Awards) for “Mafia” (2019). “Bunbun” (2020); and most recently, the June 2025 single “Anaenta”. He has collaborated with international artists such as Rema, Future, and French Montana.

Most recently, he teamed up with Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of the U.S. president and former co-chair of the Republican National Committee, on a new single titled “Sah Sah.” If this pairing feels unexpected, that’s because it is, and marks one of the most unusual cross-cultural collaborations to emerge in recent pop memory.
